Gallese (VT), March 26, 2019 – Deanocciola, a brand of Deangelis Srl, a long-standing artisanal company from Tuscia, won first place in the Welfare Index PMI 2019 awards in the Craftsmanship category. The award was presented in Rome to Rachele De Angelis, the company’s legal representative, by Cesare Fumagalli, Secretary General of Confartigianato.
The jury recognized the corporate welfare policies introduced by Deangelis Srl, which have created a positive and inclusive work environment, placing employee satisfaction and well-being at the center.
“The goal our company has always pursued by implementing a shared welfare policy,” explains Rachele De Angelis, “is above all to improve employee satisfaction. Our collaborators can see that our company has a human approach and that the workplace atmosphere is calm and pleasant. All this helps create a strong, close-knit team. We are a family — all together.”
Special attention has been given to the balance between work and private life: flexible hours, smart working, more adaptable rules compared to the national collective contract, and initiatives supporting parenthood — including a one-week paternity leave for new fathers and an additional insurance policy for all employees.
“Given the high number of employees with children, we focused on the topic of work-life balance,” adds Manuela De Angelis, General Manager. “We introduced more flexible rules, paying particular attention to the needs of new mothers, which has increased employee engagement and retention.”
An approach also shared by Massimiliano De Angelis, who emphasizes: “We believe that the quality of work is just as important as the quality of our products, and that caring for interpersonal relationships with customers and collaborators is the foundation of every business.”
With around 30 collaborators and a 2,000 m² facility, Deangelis Srl has successfully combined production growth, innovation, and social responsibility, becoming a national benchmark for welfare in small and medium-sized enterprises.
